Huang, president of the world’s most powerful AI computer chip company, stood up against major AI regulation at a conference held by King Charles III in Scotland on Thursday. Huang’s stance stood out while the AI-cautionary king held the conference to advocate safeguards in the industry, as other AI leaders, such as Dario Amodei of Anthropic, have issued serious warnings about the need for regulation.
