The Hennessy Lounge was the place to be seen at the BET Honors after party at the National Portrait Gallery on Saturday night. According to a Yeas & Nays spy, CNN reporter T.J. Holmes and his wife were spotted hanging out with his new BET and local DC team. Meanwhile, film director Spike Lee was seen sipping Belvedere cocktails wondering around alone and awkward looking for his wife. On the dance floor, CNN’s The Situation Room host Wolf Blitzer and his wife showed off their dance moves to a Stevie Wonder song and The Washington Kastles owner Mark Ein and his girlfriend broke it down to some other beats. Also on Saturday night, at The Park at Fourteenth, Hip Hop star and actor Common was seen drinking bottles of Hennessy VS and moving to at least two bigger tables so he could invite the girls from on stage to join him for drinks. R & B singers Jill Scott and Anthony Hamilton were also partying at the table. We’re told they were there until 2:30 a.m.
