There’s an app for that, there’s a map for that and now, according to Democrats on the House Committee on Education and Labor, there’s an act for that too.
Touting the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act, the committee’s Democrats unveiled a new YouTube video Wednesday that’s supposed to show off to parents some of the benefits of the stimulus package, and it looks and sounds pretty familiar.
“Say you’re a parent and you want to know, Does my child have a good teacher?” it says while showing a hand surfing the Web on an iPhone. “There’s an act for that.”
To the tune of an Apple commercial the ad closes with, “Yep, there’s an act for cleaning up the last eight years, only the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act.”
Pretty sure there’s also already about a dozen ads like that, too.
