Change is in the air for the Obama administration, or maybe just the hair.
Yeas & Nays noticed during President Obama’s Oval Office address on Tuesday night that his salt-and-pepper Caesar shape up was looking a little darker.
So, we reached out to a panel of celebrity stylists to weigh on Obama’s new look:
Christophe Jouenne of Salon L’Eau: “Yes, he definitely did his hair. He looks like he is using semi-permanent color. You can’t really blame the man, he’s really stressed.”
Derrick Lachney of Salon one80: “The hair is clearly darker in the latest photos of the president. There is only so much that lighting will do in a photo or while filming, and lighting certainly won’t take obvious gray hair to dark brown. It’s very easy for a man to over dye his hair and end up with the inkwell look, so as long as he keeps it natural looking, he looks every bit the leader that he is.”
Jason Backe, color director of Ted Gibson Salon(who works on black clients): “Hats off to whomever is coloring President Obama’s hair — it looks great!”
And, this is what we’re hearing from Tommy Vietor in the White House press office: “I think we’ll pass on this one.”
Keep your shirt on, Tommy.
