As Yeas & Nays reported earlier, rapper Coolio was in town Saturday night to perform at one of Eden’s “Saved by the 90s” parties, singing his 1996 Grammy Award winning hit “Gangsta’s Paradise.” While at the downtown D.C. club, Coolio and company requested an assortment of good booze and fast food as part of his “rider,” a list of items that need to be on hand for a performer.
According to a club source, the rapper’s people requested that he have available a bottle of Petron tequila, two bottles of Grey Goose vodka and two bottles of Moet & Chandon champagne, along with bottled water, a variety of juices and sodas and a small bottle of honey, to sooth Coolio’s throat before his performance. And what does the star like to eat with all of this pricey liquor? Some KFC. The hip-hop artist requested a mixed bucket of KFC grilled chicken with large sides of macaroni and mashed potatoes. Also, a box of KFC’s biscuits. And on a lighter note, he requested a seafood platter of shrimp, salmon and crab legs.
