The Department of Agriculture announced Monday a Walmart meat supplier has recalled nearly 90,000 pounds of beef.
Huisken Meat Company beef used to make Sam’s Choice Black Angus Vidalia Onion items from Nov. 19 to Dec. 9 may have contained extraneous wood materials.
The products were shipped from the Sauk Rapids, Minn. supplier to Walmart stores nationwide.
The USDA has urged customers who have purchased products with USDA inspection number “EST. 394A” to throw away the item.
There have not been any reports of food-related illnesses or other adverse reactions too the wooden meat.
