Sightings?: Events DC bash fun, not Legend-ary

What’s the point of red roping off a VIP area if the VIP doesn’t show? On Wednesday, the Washington Convention and Sports Authority celebrated its new name and logo with a packed party at Sax. Earlier in the day, the Convention center folks announced they’d now be called Events DC. All night, the buzz was that John Legend was going to stop by after his show at the Verizon Center, but the singer, who appears regularly in D.C., was a no-show. Instead, we spotted socialite and “Real Housewives of D.C.” alum Paul Wharton.
