Washington Times’ top editor Dealey departs

There’s more turmoil at the Washington Times, and this time, it’s at the top of the masthead. According to a press release issued on Friday, Sam Dealey is no longer editor-in-chief at the struggling Unification Church-owned newspaper.

Sources told Politico that the change came as no surprise to some of the remaining staff.

The new owners, who are backed by Unification Church leader the Rev. Sun Myung Moon, announced managing editor Christopher Dolan will take over for Dealey until they can find a permanent replacement.
