Hillary Clinton on Monday put her name on fundraising emails sent out by the Democratic Party’s House campaign arm, telling supporters the election “is an opportunity to shape our future.”
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee plans to feature Clinton at a Sept. 29 fundraiser in New York City.
On Monday, Clinton emailed supporters to donate $5 or more to the DCCC.
“This November, we have a clear choice, and a chance,” Clinton says in the email. “It’s a chance to elect Democrats to Congress who will fight for us every day. It’s a chance to elect leaders who believe that our economy and our democracy should work for everyone.”
She adds, “But they need our help. It’s going to take all hands on deck to get this done.”
The DCCC has so far this year outraised the Republican fundraising arm but the party is expected to lose a few House seats to the GOP in November.
