Obama inspires ‘The Hills’ star to get a real job

Spencer Pratt has responded to President Obama’s call to defend our nation’s cybersecurity.

And he’s even dropping the reality show gig for it. (Too early to celebrate?)

“Upon learning of President Obama’s declaration that the ‘cyber threat is one of the most serious economic and national security challenges we face as a nation,’ I have decided to refocus my energy and devote my full resources to helping America face this and other unprecedented challenges,” Pratt, of MTV’s “The Hills” fame, told People magazine.

The reality star reportedly has landed a job working for American Defense Enterprises’ cybersecurity division.

“With that being said, I am saddened to take this break from filming MTV’s ‘The Hills,’ ” Pratt said. “At this time, however, I feel I would not be honoring my country or myself if I were to continue this endeavor when I have the opportunity and the ability to assist our nation against these prevalent threats.”

The only downside to this heroic story is that he will no longer be the manager of his plastic wife, Heidi Montag. Malibu, Calif.-based psychic Aiden Chase will be in charge of that.
