Donald Trump fired back at the Democrats after Hillary Clinton said that his rhetoric was being used in videos to recruit terrorists.
“It’s the Democrats’ total weakness that is the greatest recruiting tool of ISIS,” Trump exclaimed in a tweet on Monday.
During the Democratic debate on Saturday night, Clinton declared that Trump “is becoming ISIS’s best recruiter,” as they are “showing videos of Donald Trump insulting Muslims in order to recruit more radical jihadists.”
After fact checks disproved Clinton’s claim following the debate, Trump demanded an apology from the Democratic front-runner.
“It’s the Democrats’ total weakness & incompetence that gave rise to ISIS — not a tape of Donald Trump that was an admitted Hillary lie!” Trump wrote Monday in a subsequent tweet.
