Elizabeth Warren‘s Massachusetts Senate campaign got a boost this week from one of Warren’s biggest fans — singer/actress Barbra Streisand — donating $2,500 to the campaign and later telling Politico that Warren is “one new, consistent and strong voice that has broken through the oftentimes murky and ineffectual cacophony about the economic problems facing our nation.” She predicts that the race against Republican Sen. Scott Brown will be tough, but Streisand added that Warren “offers voters the best possible champion they could have in the United States Senate … If only we had more just like her!”
