President Obama will meet with all the major players of his national security team late Wednesday morning ahead of a national address on his plans to defeat the Islamic State of Iraq and Syria, one of the most important foreign policy speeches of his presidency.
The meeting is scheduled for 11:25 a.m. in the Situation Room, according to a White House update.

• Samantha Power, U.S. ambassador to the United Nations
• John Podesta, counselor to the president
• Neil Eggleston, White House counsel
• James Clapper, director of national intelligence
• John Brennan, director of the Central Intelligence Agency
• Gen. Martin Dempsey, chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff
• Bill Burns, deputy secretary of state
• Tony Blinken, deputy national Security advisor
• Lisa Monaco, assistant to the president for homeland security and counterterrorism
• Ben Rhodes, deputy national security advisor for strategic communications and speechwriting
• Philip Gordon, special assistant to the president and White House coordinator for the Middle East, North Africa, and Gulf Region
• Jeff Prescott, deputy national security advisor to the vice president
• Katie Fallon, director of the Office of Legislative Affairs
