Stirring up political controversy is par for the course for actor Samuel L. Jackson. His latest target: Donald Trump and his apparently cheating ways on the links.
“The Hateful Eight” actor called Trump out for cheating during golf games in the January issue of Rhapsody Magazine.
When asked who the better golfer was, Jackson said with a smile, “Oh I am, for sure. I don’t cheat.”

Earlier in the interview, Jackson distanced himself from the billionaire mogul, who currently ranks second in the Washington Examiner‘s presidential power rankings, when asked if the two were “golf buddies.”
“I would never say buddies,” Jackson said. “Or friends. I’ve golfed with him.”
Jackson also related a story about Trump trying to cash in on a club membership that the thespian doesn’t remember ever buying.
“It’s funny — last week or so, I actually got a bill from Trump National Golf Club,” Jackson said. “And I haven’t been there in four or five years, so I had my assistant call. They said it was for membership dues. And I said, ‘I’m not a member,’ and they said, ‘Yeah, you are — you have a member number.’ Apparently he’d made me a member of one of his golf clubs, and I didn’t even know it.”

Jackson made it clear he was not planning on paying the dues before discussing what he really thought of Trump the politician.
“I don’t know what the Don’s up to,” he said. “Interesting character. More P.T. Barnum than politician. I don’t think he believes half the things he says.”
Trump fired back at the comments with a passive-aggressive tweet, saying he doesn’t remember golfing with Jackson and that he is “not a fan” of the actor in general.
I don’t know @SamuelLJackson, to best of my knowledge haven’t played golf w/him & think he does too many TV commercials—boring. Not a fan.
