Sen. Marco Rubio, R-Fla., is scheduled to appear on all three broadcast network Sunday news shows to talk about the Obama administration’s softened stance toward Cuba.
On Sunday, Rubio will appear on ABC’s “This Week,” CBS’s “Face the Nation,” and NBC’s “Meet the Press.”
Curiously absent from almost all the Sunday shows is Sen. Ted Cruz, R-Texas. Cruz will appear, however, on Spanish-language Univision’s “Al Punto.”
Both Rubio and Cruz are sons of Cuban immigrants and both have spoken out against the administration’s new stance on Cuba, which will allow for more travel to the country and less stringent rules on commerce with the U.S.
