Minn. Rep. Michele Bachmann doesn’t seem bothered by charges that she and Sarah Palin are at odds over the GOP’s most coveted crown — the presidency.
“They want to see two girls come together and have a mud wrestling fight,” she told a crowd of more than 200 supporters at a Wednesday morning rally in Charleston, S.C. “And I’m not going to give it to ’em.” When asked if there were divisions between herself and the former Alaska governor – who has kept her presidential plans a secret to all but family members —Bachmann said she had “great respect” for Palin, and described the 2012 race as “wide open.”
