Republican presidential hopeful Rick Santorum has had to change a few of his travel plans due to Hurricane Irene, which is expected to barrel across the east coast this weekend. The former U.S. senator will still be heading home to Pennsylvania to connect with friends and supporters, but his scheduled visits to Philadelphia and Allentown on Monday are being put on hold because of the weather. Meanwhile, Pennsylvania Gov. Tom Corbett has declared a state of emergency for the state in anticipation of the storm, which is expected to cause massive power outages, flooding and other property damage. And Corbett himself has had to postpone some of his own visits.
