Elizabeth Warren: GOP ‘rigged’ the game

While revving up voters for Sen. Al Franken, Massachusetts Sen. Elizabeth Warren had a clear message critical of the GOP.

Speaking in front of more than 400 people at Carleton College in Northfield, Minn., the Democrat proclaimed: “The game is rigged, and the Republicans rigged it,” according to the Washington Post.

Warren, who was stumping for Franken ahead of the midterm elections, stopped in Minnesota ahead of a three-state tour for Democratic Senate candidates that included Colorado and Iowa.

She was met with cheers and applause when discussing opposition to the GOP.

The potential 2016 presidential candidate then talked about her fights against Wall Street, big banks and student loans, particularly touching on legislation she and Franken have co-sponsored.

Should Republicans filibuster her legislation again, which has also been continually met with strong opposition from banks, Warren pledged to fight back.

“We’re coming after them,” she said.
