A movie chronicling the sexual harassment charges against former Fox News CEO Roger Ailes is in the early stages of production, according to a new report.
The movie will largely focus on Fox star anchor Megyn Kelly and the women who over several years have accused Ailes of sexual misconduct, allegations that eventually led to Ailes’ ousting this year, according to the Hollywood Reporter.
The movie was pitched to Annapurna Pictures by Charles Randolph, who co-wrote “The Big Short,” according to the report.
Megyn Kelly is among the women who have said Ailes made inappropriate advances on her. Former Fox anchor Gretchen Carlson was the most public with the accusations, filing a lawsuit against Fox and Ailes, eventually earning an undisclosed settlement reported to be near $20 million.
