Bonjean’s bash brings in Busey

It was actor Gary Busey, who’s done stints on “Celebrity Rehab” and “Celebrity Apprentice,” who was this year’s “celebrity guest” at Ron and Sara Bonjean’s annual holiday party. The Bonjean party, held by the Republican strategist and his wife at their Alexandria, Va. home, is always a big crowd pleaser among Capitol Hill types, but last year the couple upped the ante by inviting actor Dennis Haskins, aka Mr. Belding from “Saved by the Bell,” to entertain the hundreds of guests. This year, it was Busey’s time to shine, as the disheveled looking actor spend most of his time on a couch, cornered by crowds trying to swarm in and get a quick picture. Besides providing Busey, the Bonjeans served quite a food spread, along with red and green jello shots, spiked and regular hot chocolate, fruity shots from an ice luge, and copious amounts of liquor and beer to partygoers. And, of course, provided transportation back to the Willard Hotel in downtown D.C. so nobody would have to drive.
