Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump is once again attacking a journalist for writing a critical blog post about him, but this time he’s hitting a conservative reporter.
Tuesday on Twitter, Trump called Washington Post blogger Jennifer Rubin a “real dummy” and suggested she had a “low I.Q.” after Rubin had questioned on her blog whether Trump is “too chicken” to appear in the next GOP presidential debate.
Highly untalented Wash Post blogger, Jennifer Rubin, a real dummy, never writes fairly about me. Why does Wash Post have low IQ people?

“Highly untalented Washington Post blogger Jennifer Rubin a real dummy, never writes fairly about me,” Trump said. “Why does Wash Post have low IQ people?”
In another tweet, Trump said, “You would think a paper like the Washington Post would be fair and objective. For the record, almost all polls showed I won all debates.”
Rubin did not respond to a request for comment from the Washington Examiner media desk, though she did send a tweet toward Trump that said, “Hooray! I join esteemed company.”
Rubin’s post took Trump to task for recently threatening to sit out the next debate, hosted on Dec. 15 by CNN, unless the network paid him $5 million, which he would then give to charity.
“Why is he scared of debating his competitors?” Rubin wrote, hypothesizing that it’s because he has “run out of one-liners” and is incapable of offering detailed answers on policy questions.
Trump has remained at the top of almost every national and early primary state-level poll since launching his campaign in June, despite often seeming to fade into the background during previous debates that were heavy on specific policy issues.
Rubin would be the latest in a long and seemingly endless series of journalists and commentators Trump has publicly ridiculed for criticizing him or questioning his capability.
