It seems that television outlets are having problems figuring out that “Modern Family’s” Jesse Tyler Ferguson is a man.
While in D.C., Ferguson pointed out a slight problem with C-SPAN’s identification of him, as he showed up at Tammy Haddad‘s and Mark Ein‘s Saturday brunch at Katherine Graham‘s estate.
C-SPAN had labeled him as an “actress.”
On his Twitter feed, the actor, who plays openly-gay Mitchell on the hit show, showed that C-SPAN wasn’t the only TV channel that has made the mistake. In fact, it was the third time he’s been identified as a woman.
In the end, though, Ferguson found the whole thing amusing.
“Don’t feel bad for this ‘actress,'” he wrote. “I think it’s funny. But if it happens a 4th time I am going to find a good OBGYN & join Curves Gym.”
