For Sarah Palin’s camp, “Going Rogue” means buying $63,000 in copies of your own book.
The former governor of Alaska asked her political action committee, SarahPAC, to purchase thousands of copies of her memoir and send them to donors in November and December of 2009, ABC News reported after sifting through campaign records.
The organization also appeared to spend $8,000 on designed bookmarks and $20,000 on a personal photographer and aide for the book tour.
“Going Rogue” has spent 10 weeks on the New York Times Bestseller List for hardcover nonfiction.
