A fun and easy guide to Salahiland

This weekend alone the D.C. police opened an investigation into why it looked like the Salahis had a police escort for their limousine on the last episode of “The Real Housewives of D.C.” … TMZ broke the news that Corinne Salahi called the cops on her son a few weeks ago when he showed up at the family’s Oasis Winery in Virginia … and, finally, former publicist Mahogany Jones and current Salahi lawyer Lisa Bloom went at it on “Geraldo At Large.”

Since Tareq and Michaele Salahi clearly will not go away, Yeas & Nays compiled this guide to some of the most important characters in Salahiland.

Lisa Bloom

The Power Lawyer

She’s the daughter of famed lawyer Gloria Allred and a television personality, formerly hosting “Lisa Bloom: Open Court,” so why is she now an integral part of Salahiland?

“There’s always a part of me that wants to fight for the underdog — that’s why I represent them,” she told Yeas & Nays in an interview earlier this month. So far Bloom has defended Michaele Salahi after her appearance on “The View” and has also gone after the couple’s former publicist, Mahogany Jones.

Howard Cromwell

The Promoter

Cromwell is a close pal of the couple and takes on the role of party planner, hosting the recent “Real Housewives of D.C.” party at EFN Lounge. He is the CEO & president of DRAWOH LLEWMORC Omnimedia LLC. (his name spelled backward), which owns D.C.’s MOST FABULOUS MAGAZINE, a publication (or Web site, rather) that almost exclusively covers Salahi-related events.

Diane Dimond

The Author

Dimond is a longtime television reporter and author who previously penned “Be Careful Who You Love: Inside the Michael Jackson Case.” Now she’s working on a Salahi tome titled “Cirque Du Salahi: Be Careful Who You Trust.”

“I’m an independent investigative journalist and, while I’ve obtained the Salahis’ cooperation, I maintain full editorial control and in no way is this [a] Valentine to them,” she said in an e-mail to Yeas & Nays.

Mahogany Jones

The Ex-Publicist

Jones was brought into Salahiland when the couple was cast on “Real Housewives” and lasted until May. In recent weeks, she’s resurfaced and tried to sell her story. On Saturday, she called her old bosses “grifters” when she appeared on “Geraldo At Large” in a contentious segment with the Salahis’ attorney, Lisa Bloom.

Max Markson

The Publicist

He’s been described in the Australian media as a “celeb spruiker who never misses an opportunity to prolong someone’s 15 minutes of fame and make a buck,” and became part of Salahiland when the couple voyaged down under in March. When Yeas & Nays asked Markson if he was still doing work for the couple he gave an enthusiastic yes.

“Watch out for the doll,” he said.

Other “Housewives” plus Paul Wharton

The Frenemies

It’s clear that the other “Housewives,” and even stylist Paul Wharton, simply are done with the Salahis. The “Housewives” requested the Salahis not be invited to an after party at Buddah-Bar the night “Real Housewives of D.C.” debuted in Washington, and there’s been talk that the cast is pushing for the Salahis not to be asked back for season two.
