Did you really think Robert Gibbs‘ exit from the White House would only consist of a short ceremony with President Obama in the briefing room? Yeah, not so much. We hear the party for the now former White House press secretary stretched into Friday night and involved karaoke.
A Yeas & Nays spy reports that Gibbs stopped by Cafe Japone in Dupont Circle with what looked to be 15 White House staffers and gave singing a try. He belted out the Twisted Sister hit “We’re Not Gonna Take It” with two of his aides.
“Of course, the entire restaurant was singing along with him,” our source said. “To say the least, he could definitely ignite a crowd.”
