Republican presidential frontrunner Donald Trump is convinced rapper Kanye West “loves” him.
Trump’s claim came after he was asked Thursday at a press conference to respond to West, who announced over the weekend in a rambling speech that he would run for president in 2020.
“You know what? I will never say bad about him, you know why? Because he loves Trump!” the 2016 Republican presidential candidate said of the Grammy-winning rapper. “Kanye West has been so great.”
“He goes around saying ‘Trump is my all-time hero,'” Trump added. “He says it to everybody. So, Kanye West, I love him.”
