The folks behind USA Network’s “Covert Affairs” television show, which has been filming off and on in D.C. recently, have been pretty good about letting the public know what they’re up to. On Tuesday, Yeas & Nays stumbled upon a sign on the National Mall near the Smithsonian Castle letting tourists, kickball players and runners know that they might unintentionally end up in the background of the TV series. “Your entrance into this area will serve as your voluntary agreement to appear on screen as part of this or any other production, in any and all media now known or hereafter devised, worldwide, in perpetuity, including in advertisements and promotions,” the legalese-filled placard read, noting that the filming was indeed for “Covert Affairs.” In addition, we’re told that star Piper Perabo has returned to the District to shoot some scenes, though her co-star Christopher Gorham is currently not in town.
