Over the last week, the rumor-mill has been brimming with speculation over Bristol Palin‘s slimmer face, with the media speculating that she may — or may not — have gone under the knife for her new angular jawline and pronounced cheekbones. Now she’s telling Us Weekly that’s exactly what she did, though it was for medical reasons, not to improve her appearance.
According to the AP, Bristol told the magazine she underwent surgery for her jaw to correct an overbite which had caused her problems since childhood. “Yes, it improved the way I look, but this surgery was necessary for medical reasons,” she told the magazine for its May 23 issue, going on to add that she would never get plastic surgery unless she “got in an accident or something terrible and got disfigured.”
