Fred Upton — chairman of the Committee on Energy and Commerce — has taken some time to praise his niece, Kate Upton — the beauty on the cover of this year’s Sports Illustrated swimsuit issue. The 19-year-old model’s cover shot was unveiled on “The Late Show with David Letterman” Monday night, and her uncle couldn’t resist throwing some love her way when he appeared on Fox News on Thursday. “She’s a great gal,” he said, adding, “I got a lot of my colleagues that are asking if I was adopted.”
