Tweeting Trump: Dem candidates ‘very scripted and rehearsed’

Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump took a break from attacking those in his own party to critique the five Democratic hopefuls participating in Tuesday’s televised primary debate.

The outspoken billionaire, who’s developed a reputation for delivering unscripted campaign speeches and approaching the GOP debates with minimal preparation, appeared to suggest the Democratic candidates should borrow a page from his book.

A little over halfway through the debate, Trump also noted he did not think any of the candidates were delivering a breakout performance.

Trump failed to beat Clinton in a Quinnipiac University poll released Tuesday. According to the survey of registered voters, the former secretary of state still leads the ex-reality TV host 47-40 percent in a general election matchup.
