Christmases Past Re-visited

St. John’s Georgetown Parish, 3240 O Street NW, will hold a live staged and costumed reading of “A Christmas Carol” at 4 p.m. on Sunday. Using a script adapted and performed by author Charles Dickens, the reading will bring to life Scrooge, the ghosts of Christmases past, present and future and other characters from the timeless literary classic. Seating is limited so call the parish office at 202-338-1796 to make a reservation. There is a suggested donation of $10 per adult and $20 per family to attend, and baby-sitting is available for children. Following the performance, the parish will host a reception.
