R&B singer Chris Brown railed against Republican presidential candidate Donald Trump in an Instagram video he posted late Thursday.
“F–k Trump and f–k the pigs,” Brown said in the post.
The 26-year-old performer was reacting to an incident earlier on Thursday in which a white man at a Trump rally in Fayetteville, N.C. punched a black protester who had flipped off Trump supporters while being removed from the event.
“To see this evil s–t is so wrong! God will have his revenge!” Brown said. “People are so afraid to say s–t because y’all just find a way to kill our leaders … I ain’t running for no political offices nor don’t I want to be apart of the devision of (Devil) race. First thing yall do is bring God in it. Don’t play with power u don’t understand.”
More than 160,000 Instagram users have liked the pop singer’s comments by late Thursday.
Trump’s campaign team has not responded to the pre-debate attack.
