Super PAC mocks Clinton in Christmas ad

A new GOP-backed super PAC that attacks Hillary Clinton is using a play on “‘Twas the Night Before Christmas” to mock her in a new web ad running in New Hampshire.

The 30-second clip from Future 45, titled “A Very Clinton Christmas,” makes fun of her donations from banks, her controversial use of a private email address as secretary of state, relationship with Russian President Vladimir Putin and foreign giving to the Clinton Foundation. It also includes a dig at Huma Abedin, Clinton’s longtime aide and confidant.

“‘Twas the morning of Christmas at the Clinton house,” the ad says. “The gifts were all open, a new server and mouse. A new lamp for Huma and checks from big banks, a reset from Putin, she’ll send him a thanks.”

Some of the country’s biggest Republican donors are backing Future 45, which was started earlier this month specifically to attack the Democratic front-runner on her record as secretary of state. Hedge fund billionaire Paul Singer are among the donors.

The group plans on running the ad in the battleground state of New Hampshire starting on Dec. 26.

“They’d be dead broke without the Clinton Foundation and that’s why this Christmas we all must agree, we cannot send Hilllary back to D.C.,” the ad concludes.
