With all this talk about a Sen. John Mellencamp, we’re reminded of another draft movement that’s heating up: Larry Kudlow for U.S. Senate in New York.
The “Draft Larry Kudlow Committee” hopes the CNBC host will seriously challenge Democrat Sen. Chuck Schumer in the November election, and Kudlow hasn’t seemed to rule it out.
According to the New York Daily News, at last week’s New York Young Republicans annual Ronald Reagan Awards dinner, the TV personality said, “Defeating Chuck Schumer would be a noble cause.”
