Hela Spa and Salon and Courage for Kids will partner to host a beauty event that raises money and awareness for the Give Back-Pack Initiative on Wednesday.
For two years, the Give Back-Pack Initiative has provided backpacks to kids who graduated from early childhood education programs at Bright Beginnings. The backpack comes filled with books and school supplies needed for their first day of kindergarten. This year, the Give Back-Pack Initiative hopes to expand their efforts to cover 250 children at another school, CentroNia.
People who make a $20 donation to Courage for Kids will receive complimentary items and services including mini-facials, eyebrow waxes, and other nail and hair services offered at the salon. The event will be held from 6 to 8 pm.
