This catchphrase, in its original Japanese translation, is part of one of Gov. Arnold Schwarzenegger’s recent efforts to save his foundering state — by making California big in Japan. The commercial, featuring the Governator, the San Francisco trolley and the ever cliched Hollywood sign, has been circulating in Japan for a while, Gawker found from translating the Japan Probe. There are variations of the ad circulating with the featured tag line, but the most recent versions dub Schwarzenegger with a Japanese voice-over. (Hard to get past that accent, right?)
