In this rough economy, most people are willing to take any job they can get. But would you run around town grabbing coffee, peddle perfume at a department store, go through a military training camp in the middle of nowhere and be yelled at constantly — all on national television?
If so, then you’re in luck. Hip-hop media mogul Sean “P. Diddy” Combs — perhaps one of the few people hiring these days — is sending VH1 to Washington to cast contestants for the second season of “I Want to Work for Diddy.”
On May 16, people with “big personalities” and a “whatever it takes” attitude are asked to come to Lavar Arrington’s sports bar The Side Line in Largo, Md., to try out for his elimination reality show that knocks someone off each week until his new personal assistant is left standing at the end.
Oh, and just because you may think it’s worth it to go through embarrassing challenges each week to score a job, we advise you to remember the winner must be on call 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
Sounds rougher than a gig in the White House.
