BB to AB
The audience at the Pepsi Refresh the World symposium at Howard University Monday morning got a little history lesson, courtesy of Spike Lee.
The filmmaker divided the world into three periods:
-BB – Before Barack – “dinosaurs, Cro-Magnon man, George Bush … he’s going back to the Ranch.”
-DB – During Barack – “one minute after noon tomorrow … and for the next eight years … that’s what’s it going to take to straighten this mess out.”
-AB – After Barack – “This is from tomorrow until the earth blows up…”
Thus, concluded Lee, “It’s Obama time now!”
