ABC’s “Scandal” did its own version of Sen. Ted Cruz’s infamous “machine-gun bacon” routine Thursday night, having one of its presidential candidates open fire to fry some up.
In the episode, swaggering billionaire oil tycoon Hollis Doyle tells the press he doesn’t need any debate prep — just “eight hours of sleep and a good hearty breakfast.” Then, just like the Cruz video, he wraps several pieces of raw bacon around the barrel of a semi-automatic and lets it fly at the gun range.
