Chelsea Clinton announced yesterday that she and her husband, Marc Mezvinsky, are expecting their second child.
Yesterday, Chelsea Clinton also asked supporters of her family foundation, the Bill, Hillary, and Chelsea Clinton Foundation, for money.
“You and I share a common belief – the belief that we can really do something about improving health, defeating poverty, and making gender equality a reality,” Clinton’s email to supporters began. “And together, we are.
- We expanded our agricultural work to empower more than 85,000 smallholder farmers in Malawi, Rwanda, and Tanzania to forge their own paths out of poverty.
- Here in the U.S., the Alliance for a Healthier Generation, in its 10th year, has helped 18 million kids in more than 31,000 schools gain access to healthier food and more physical activity options.
- Along with the release of No Ceilings: The Full Participation Report, we have hosted conversations with more than 50,000 participants on the opportunities and challenges that girls and women experience throughout the world.
We can do even more next year, but it takes individuals like you coming together to show your support for this work. I am truly inspired every time I see the thousands of grassroots donors that come together, because you understand how important this work remains.
No matter what size contribution you make, it all adds up to more lives changed – so donate to the Clinton Foundation today to have your gift matched, dollar for dollar, and help us make double the impact in 2016.
