Rep. Carlos Curbelo is making an embarrassing accident an instructional opportunity, tweeting Saturday that he injured himself falling off a hoverboard bought for his daughter.
The Florida Republican is wearing a sling in the picture he posted, but he did not specify what his injury was.

Curbelo is among thousands of Americans who seem to have tumbled from the popular Christmas gifts in the last two days. The wife of former Washington Nationals second basemen Dan Uggla posted on Instagram a video of him falling off one, while listening to Justin Bieber.
Another Florida Republican, Rep. Ileana Ros-Lehtinen, responded on Twitter to the accident involving her colleague, saying it could have been worse.
