The International Monetary Fund’s Dominique Strauss-Kahn is making all sorts of lists these days. Strauss-Kahn, who joined the inmate list at Rikers Island this week, also made Washington Life’s Power 100. The IMF chief was arraigned on Monday in Manhattan Criminal Court on charges including attempted rape, sex abuse, a criminal sex act, unlawful imprisonment and forcible touching of a New York hotel maid. But he’s not the only one with outside-the-office drama who made the list of D.C.’s power players.
Former President Bill Clinton is on there too, alongside former Vice President Dick Cheney, both of whom made headlines for things other than their political prowess. Clinton’s indiscretions with Monica Lewinsky led to his impeachment, while Cheney accidentally shot a friend on a hunting trip.
