Front-runners for both parties hold double-digit leads in the upcoming primary in New York and in the delegate-rich California primary that will close out the nominating calendar, according to CBS News’ Battleground Tracker Poll.

The poll, released Sunday on “Face the Nation,” shows GOP front-runner Donald Trump with a major lead of more than 30 points before the New York primary on Tuesday. Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton has a 10-point lead over Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

CBS also polled California, which as had little polling to date and holds the last primary contest in June. Trump leads in that state by 49 percent compared to Texas Sen. Ted Cruz with 31 percent and John Kasich with 16 percent.

Democratic front-runner Hillary Clinton also leads the state in the Democratic primary. She leads by 52 percent to 40 percent for Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders.

Meanwhile, Trump has a major lead in the Pennsylvania primary set for April 26, getting 46 percent of the vote compared to Texas Sen. Ted Cruz with 26 percent and Ohio Governor John Kasich with 23 percent.
