Republican presidential front-runner Donald Trump is about to sit down with a Fox News anchor who he said he lost “all respect” for just a few weeks ago.
Trump will sit down with Bret Baier, who anchors the Special Report newscast each weeknight and was one of the debate moderators who vexed Trump in the first debate.
After that first debate, Trump charged that the moderators, who included Megyn Kelly and Chris Wallace, unfairly targeted him.
“I think they had an agenda,” he had said in an interview on CNN. He specifically pointed to the first question of the night, posed by Baier, who had asked if any of the 10 candidates on the stage were unready to rule out a third-party run, should he not win the GOP nomination.
Trump was the only one who raised his hand, though he has since signed a pledge saying that he would support the party’s nominee, even if it isn’t him.
“I lost all respect for Bret Baier,” Trump said later on CNN. “I didn’t have any respect for him anymore, the way he handled the situation.”
But Baier is set for an interview with Trump on the Tuesday edition of his show. On Twitter, Baier asked his 607,000 follwers to submit questions they would like him to ask the billionaire real estate developer.
What would you ask @realDonaldTrump ??? Send a tweet and maybe I’ll ask it today. #SRinterview

Trump is currently leading the Republican field in national and early primary state-level polls. He’s also leading the Washington Examiner’s presidential power rankings.
