Mary Amons, “The Real Housewives of D.C.” cast member and founder of Labels for Love, hopes to bring together philanthropic, political and artistic communities at an art showcase event called Modus Union Parisian Salon at the Lumber Shed Pavilion at the Yards Park in Southeast on Thursday evening. The popular D.C. art gallery Art Whino has teamed up with Amons and will curate a special 6,000-square-foot exhibition and live painting session with artists at the riverfront park. Labels For Love beneficiary partner this year is Fran Drescher and her Cancer Schmancer Foundation, which is dedicated to saving women’s lives through early detection and prevention of cancer.
Tickets are $50 and still available online. The event begins at 5:30 p.m.
