‘Obamajam’ returns to L.A.

Actor Jamie Foxx has been booked to star at next “Obamajam” in Los Angeles for the president on Thursday at Sony Pictures Studios in Culver City, which has issued a traffic advisory from 3 p.m. to 8 p.m. on the day of the event. Schools are even set to release students early to avoid the traffic jam that’s expected to engulf the area. And that’s probably a good thing, too — the event in August 2010 resulted in a traffic nightmare that sparked demands from L.A. residents for an investigation.

Access to the event, which will also be attended by singer-songwriter Jason Mraz, actress Rashida Jones and include performances by the Foshay Learning Center Choir, will cost donors $100 (for attendees under 40 years of age), $250 for general admission and $2,500 for VIP seating. Afterwards, Obama will join a much smaller gathering for a private dinner in Brentwood.
