Elena Kagan just may be the newest VIP foodie in D.C. The Supreme Court Justice lunched with four young gentleman at Ashok Bajaj’s Bibiana Osteria & Enoteca on Monday. No report on what she ate, but a source said they all took advantage of the fantastic DC Restaurant Week menu.
Also Monday, D.C’s first lady, Michelle Fenty, was spotted lunching with Washington Life’s assistant arts and features editor Kevin Chaffee at Chef Todd and Ellen Gray’s restaurant Equinox. We’re told Fenty ordered succotash and rapina as an appetizer, then had cobia for her entree. They also split the broken pistachio dessert.
On Sunday night, WNBA’s Washington Mystics managing partner Sheila Johnson was joined by two other ladies and a gentleman for dinner at the Park Hyatt’s Blue Duck Tavern. A Yeas & Nays spy tells us she was wearing a beautiful pair of trendy-looking black and white glasses.
