Former Mass. Gov. Mitt Romney’s changing image has earned him much attention, seeing that a new topic of conversation is how he has been seen sporting skinny Gap jeans bought for him by his wife.
The Los Angeles Times profiled him and found that the shifts in his image are making voters feel as though he is “inauthentic.”
The National Journal looked at Romney’s “average Joe” image, seen as early as 2002 when he ran to be the governor. His campaigning days consisted of participating in everyday jobs around the state such as sorting lobsters, working as an auto mechanic and even a garbage man.
