Clinton to fundraise in New Hampshire

With 2016 in mind, Hillary Clinton will fundraise for a prominent New Hampshire Democrat later this month.

Clinton will appear at a Sept. 30 fundraiser for state Sen. Lou D’Allesandro, two weeks visiting Iowa, the first caucus state.

The 25-to-30 person event, hosted by former Massachusetts state Sen. Steven Baddour at his law firm in Washington, D.C., will be closed to the media, according to the New Hampshire Journal.

During her 2008 presidential bid, Clinton won the New Hampshire primary.

“Hillary is planning to come by to speak on my behalf,” D’Allesandro, who has been in office since 1998, told CNN.

Bill Clinton will also be the keynote speaker at the New Hampshire Democratic Party’s annual Jefferson-Jackson Dinner on Oct. 16 in Manchester.
