Singer Taylor Swift did a little late night sightseeing Tuesday.
Swift, who is performing a leg of her tour at the Verizon Center, visited the Lincoln Memorial after her Tuesday night show, snapping a picture with a few of her friends.
“After the show, we went to see Abe!!” she tweeted. “Pretty magical.” She also mentioned via Twitter that it was her first time seeing the monument. She explained that she had missed her eighth grade class trip because she had a show.
Overall, the Grammy-award winning singer’s first night in D.C. seemed to be a positive one. “D.C., night one. What a beautiful, ravishing, deafeningly loud crowd,” Swift wrote. “I was taking in every minute tonight, memorizing it.” She performs again at the Verizon Center Wednesday.
